About Us
Our beautiful church, built in 1904, continues to nurture generations of Maffra and district residents. Fabulous stained glass windows are a feature of St Andrews.
We are a young-at-heart congregation who prides itself on being welcoming and inclusive. We are always looking to make new friends.
We worship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. followed by a morning cuppa for fellowship and friendship.

Ministry & Worship
We worship at 9:00 a.m. weekly on Sundays, followed by a time of fellowship and friendship over morning tea.
Maffra, Stratford and Sale Uniting Churches comprise the Currawong Team. Rev Paul Ryu is our minister. He leads services at Maffra on the first and third Sunday each month.
Paul leads services at Stratford Uniting Church at 9.00 a.m. on the second and fourth Sunday each month, and leads services at Sale Uniting Church at 11.00 a.m. on the first and second Sunday each month.
All people are welcome to worship with us.
The Currawong churches share services together at special times of the year. We share the Good Friday service together at Sale UC at 9.00 a.m., the Traditional Carols Service at Maffra UC at 7.00 p.m. and the New Year's Eve service at Stratford UC at 7.00 p.m.
We value the close relationship we have forged with other churches in Maffra and come together in fellowship and friendship at various times throughout the year. (Pentecost, Easter and Advent)

GROUPS
Maffra Uniting Church Friendship and Fellowship Group meets on the second Thursday of the month at 1:30 p.m. at the Maffra Uniting Church Hall.
Church Council meets on the second Tuesday every two months at 2:00 p.m.
Elders meet the fourth Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p.m.
KYB Bible Studies (during school term) is on Thursday at 10.00 a.m. Contact Pam on (03) 51 471 689
The Quilt and Craft Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. Contact Jude on 0412 778 707
Hall Hire
Our spacious and light-filled hall has seating for approximately two hundred people. Amenities are internal and include a disabled toilet.
There is also a meeting space which can easily accommodate up to thirty people.
Adjoining the hall and meeting space is a modern kitchen with oven, microwave and ample catering equipment. Serveries provide ease of access into the hall and/or meeting space.
Tables and/or trestles are available for use.
